HG references & tributes: The Company of Wolves

Jordan’s film is a weird one: in some circles is considered amazing and a cult film while in others is totally underrated, as B movie, or some people didn’t hear about it. I find it delicious because although it’s an 80s film is like ageless, not like 80s aesthetics ("The Lost Boys" or "Near Dark"), more like the kind of tale your grandma could tell you if she is not a typical grandma xD

It influenced many werewolves movies after it, even videoclips (Rammstein’s “Du reich so gut”) and I’m sure also HG now, 1x02 episode and even the posters.

FX & make up weren’t back in the day as good as they are now: less money, less tech, more animatronics… but it’s still great :-)
